I have been managing to get in an hour of working out per day - between the morning (10-20 minutes, however much the children allow me, lol), the afternoon interval workouts on the Nike Training Club app with my son for gym, and my solo evening workouts before I settle down on the couch with my husband!
I am really proud of how I've been pushing myself and not only do I feel good about doing them, doing all the workouts makes me feel great!
I have been using Gaiam TV website still and am loving the QuickFix kickboxing workouts here as well as The FIRM Zero in Ten here. They're both videos of ten-minute workouts that get cardio and strength done at the same time.I've also tried the QuickFix Power Yoga Sun Salutations here - these look easy but are sooo tough and actually a good cardio workout too - nice and light, perfect for morning!
I have also been following some workouts on one of my favorite fitness blogs - Blogilates! I love the new videos Cassey has been putting out in her HiiTilates series like the newest one - Scream & SHout (click here to see!) They are super-tough, but you feel amazing after actually doing one - even if (like me!) you can't finish every rep!
I have also discovered another fitness blog that I love - http://www.toneitup.com
They have awesome workouts and a great Valentines Day challenge going on right now! I am participating!
Aside from allllll that fitness I have been keeping up with my nutrition goals, and adding some more! I have only been drinking water, limiting my calorie-containing beverages to one or two per week when out with my hubby or at a family dinner. I must say this really makes me feel good!
As far as the 80bites.com app goes, I have been noticing that I generally don't eat much more than 80 bites, so am moving onto the next goal from 80bites - watching my bite size!
Now for this week!
This weeks goals for me will be:
- Continue drinking only water, watching bites, and eating max 3 meals and two snacks per day - no snacking in between!
- Continue working out with an hour of exercise per day. Alternate days of Upper body-Lower body strength moves and work my abs a bit every day with different workouts. Keep following blogilates and tone it up workouts.
- Make sure to eat fruit everyday, and more veggies (I want to put out some raw veg and hummus at meals - something I used to do!)
That's it for this week!
Hope you're keeping up with your goals too!
